Introduction

Enter the zone right into my fitness blog and learn about health, fitness, meal ideas, life and anything else that comes to my mind. Lol… This fitness blog will be about helping women who have been through life traumatic experiences. I wanted to create a safe space for women and show them what I did to help me get back to the best version of me. I had to find the woman I lost and become the woman I need. By letting go of past experiences that were hindering my  growth. 

I am officially in the 40 club and I am walking into the best season of my life. Are you afraid of getting older? You know at times you feel getting older slows you down or makes you feel like time is running out. So, you get scared and afraid you won’t accomplish your goals. I felt that way for a long time until I embraced God’s grace and started praying more. 

When you take the time to heal from life’s truma. You unlock another level in life because you are unapologetically YOU! You took the time to love yourself and put yourself first. You allowed yourself to never give up on your dreams and goals just because of the time it takes to accomplish them. Time will pass anyway, you can’t stop time. It may have taken you a little longer to get it together because of the obstacles in your way. Keep pushing though because old keys don’t unlock new doors. You have to do something different in order to get different.

That’s exactly what I did. I had to change my mindset in order to change my life. My weight got up to 203. Check me out at the bottom. Look what hard work, determination and believing in yourself can do. During that time I was suffering with postpartum, ptsd, functional depression and anxiety at the same damn time. I had to concentrate on the inside more than the outside. I found my passion again with fitness in order to relieve stress. Personal development is so important in the healing process but more important “PRAYER”. Learn coping mechanisms, manifestation, affirmations, self love etc. Feeling good about myself and building confidence from within. So ladies, how are you dealing with getting over your traumatic events?
